Powerful Ways To protect Your Breast Health
Oct 30, 2024
With breast cancer being one of the most common health issues among women in Australia, it’s vital that we don’t just rely on pink ribbons and awareness campaigns but instead empower ourselves to make informed and proactive choices for our health.
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Australian women, with 1 in 7 women expected to be diagnosed in their lifetime. In fact, over 20,000 new cases are reported each year. While these numbers can feel overwhelming, they highlight the importance of preventative measures that go beyond traditional awareness campaigns.
While many companies plaster pink ribbons on their products to show support, it's crucial to be discerning. Some of these same companies include carcinogenic ingredients in their products, which could increase our risk rather than support our health.
In episode 120 of the Back To The Paddock podcast, I’ll instead share five realistic and powerful actionable steps you can take to support your long-term breast health and reduce your risk of breast cancer.
